This specialized sleeve uses silicone rubber extrusion coating over its non-combustible fiberglass braid to produce a reinforced sleeving superior to ordinary dip-coated sleeves. In addition to its durability, 1151-FRB Grade A is difficult to ignite, burns slowly, and extinguishes promptly even when igniting the bottom of a vertical specimen. Qualified by major U.S. airframe manufacturers, Grade A meets all performance requirements for MIL-I-3190/6 and is ideal for protecting wiring systems in modern jet aircraft from abrasion, impact, volatile drip, splash or spray.
