Backing retains physical properties even after thermal degradation of the silicone adhesive into an insulating layer of silica.

P-12L foil tape is engineered for masking, flame protection, sealing and many more applications primarily in the aerospace market. Typically used for aircraft fuselage and interior panels, P-12L is equally good for "quick fix" repairing in the transit of sheet metal panels when the metal is gouged or ripped. This version features a liner for ease of processing when die-cutting and unwinding for wide width rolls.
